Synk is a mobile app that connects recording studios with artists and music professionals. This privacy policy explains what data we collect, why, and how we protect it.

2. Data We Collect
2.1 Data you provide
- User account: Email, phone number, first name, last name, date of birth
- Profile: Profile photo (optional), music genres, role (artist, producer, etc.)
- Studio data (for studio owners): Address, equipment, prices, availability. Your personal address, IBAN and SIRET are also collected for identity verification (KYC) and Stripe payouts; these data are transmitted to Stripe and are not kept in our main database after validation.
- Bookings: Dates, times, booked studios
2.2 Data collected automatically
- GPS location: To display studios near you on the map (only when using search)
- Notification tokens: Push tokens for confirmations and reminders
- Technical data: Device type, OS, app version, error logs (diagnostics)
Optional features: With your consent, we may add sessions to your calendar and open your SMS app to contact a studio. We do not access your message content.
2.3 Payments
Payment information (card details) is processed exclusively by Stripe, our payment provider. We never store your banking data. Stripe handles this data under its own privacy policy.

We keep your data for as long as your account is active and as necessary to provide the service. You may request deletion at any time.

We implement security measures to protect your data. However, no system is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
